What Is an Ultrasound?

Ultrasound imaging uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of the inside of your body. A gel is applied to the skin to eliminate air pockets and ensure clarity, while a hand-held transducer sends and receives sound waves to generate visuals on a screen. Depending on the exam type, the process typically takes 30 to 60 minutes.

• Must be at least 7 weeks from the first day of your last cycle

• Scan will determine how far along you are in the pregnancy

• We will file your insurance

• GENDER REVEAL ULTRASOUND – 2D SCAN*

• Must be at least 15 weeks

• Scan will determine baby’s gender before 19 week Anatomy Scan

• We will not file your insurance

• ANATOMY ULTRASOUND – 2D SCAN

• Must be at least 19 weeks

• Scan will determine baby’s measurements and gender

• We will file your insurance

• Self-Pay price is already included in your monthly payment plan

• JUST A PEEK ULTRASOUND – 2D SCAN*

• Patient can schedule scans from start of prenatal care through delivery
